Hi, my name is Rika Matoba Lopez and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in CA providing in-person sessions and telehealth (online counseling) to teenagers, adults, couples, and families. I am also currently in training to become an EMDR(Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) clinician. I completed my Masters of Arts in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage Family Therapy at Azusa Pacific University in 2009. I am a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT) and am registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences with the State of California. I am also a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) with IITAP (International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Therapists) in which I have training working with Couples Betrayal Trauma, Sex/Porn/Love/Relationship addiction for both men and women.
Although my specialty is focused on Sex Addiction, I am not limited to only working with this population but also individuals who battle with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief/bereavement, parenting issues, boundary setting, and relational conflicts.
