For Partner Betrayal Trauma we will dive into materials and resources created by Dr.Patrick and Stephanie Carnes and also look into trauma based assessments thru IITAP (International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Profession). For an intensive treatment plan, it will be highly recommended that there is a very comprehensive approach where each partner will be seen by an individual therapist, separate from the “couples therapist.” Referrals may be considered if needed.
